Those who have followed us for a long time (\ud83d\udc99) know it: every year we organise a trip for the whole VENTISETTE Digital team<\/strong>, an occasion both to develop the Travel storytelling<\/a><\/strong> projects commissioned by our clients and to nurture the professional training and personal research<\/strong> of all the agency’s members.<\/p>\n

In fact, while telling stories for brands is part of our work, travelling is our favourite way to gather them<\/strong>, enriching ourselves and the brand strategy<\/strong> we want to build.<\/p>\n

VENTISETTE flies to New York<\/h2>\n

To celebrate our first 10 years, what better gift than New York?<\/strong> The city that \u2014 still today \u2014 is the quintessential centre of the birth and spread of new global trends<\/strong> in every field, the ideal destination, therefore, to seek out original creative ideas,<\/strong> observe the behaviours of the inhabitants of the \u201ccapital of the world\u201d<\/strong>, and discover trends still unseen in Italy<\/strong> but inevitably destined to sweep over us in the coming months.<\/p>\n

From Williamsburg<\/strong> \u2014 our hub during these days and the area that, together with the entire borough of Brooklyn, saw the birth of many of the subcultures<\/strong> that later became mainstream all over the world (does hipsterism ring a bell?) \u2014 to the historic neighbourhoods of Manhattan<\/strong>, protagonists of continuous transformations<\/strong>, the things we noticed are many. And they will be at the heart of our reflections in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

But before pointing you to these in-depth pieces, we can already mention one point \u2014 entirely on a communication theme \u2014 that struck us immediately, as soon as we set foot in Times Square. On 20 March, the city officially unveiled its new logo<\/strong>, created by art director Graham Clifford: WE \u2764\ufe0f NYC<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the intentions of its promoters (the nonprofit organisation \u201cPartnership for New York City\u201d), the new brand is ideally intended to replace the historic I \u2764\ufe0f NY<\/em> designed by Milton Glaser in 1976<\/strong> to relaunch tourism in the city (which in those years was not shining as it is today, due to Covid, rising crime and widespread decay). A logo that, thanks to its simplicity and the insight of inserting the \u2764\ufe0f<\/strong> symbol, became a pop icon recognised all over the world<\/strong>, going beyond the city’s borders.<\/p>\n
