InfoCamere is the Italian Chambers of Commerce’s organisation for digital innovation. Starting with the management of the Business Register – the national business register – it provides cutting-edge technological services to meet the needs of entrepreneurs, professionals and citizens in the face of constantly evolving economic and regulatory systems. It designs and develops solutions to simplify the relationship between businesses and the public administration and to ensure favourable conditions for the continuous evolution and transformation of business activities, thereby supporting the competitiveness of the national economy.

VENTISETTE Digital, in collaboration with FocusLab – which was responsible for drafting the textual and technical content – supported InfoCamere in the creation of the 2023 Sustainability Report, overseeing its creative direction and adaptation across all media formats. The project did not result solely in the report; it was also implemented through a revamped sustainability section on the InfoCamere website and a video summarising the key findings.

STORYTELLING

“Innovation and sustainability as drivers of change at the heart of the digital revolution”

Context

Sustainability plays a key role for InfoCamere, becoming a fundamental driver of the digital revolution in which InfoCamere is playing a leading role thanks to the tools and services it offers.

The website, annual report and informational video are designed as part of a single communication project aimed at disseminating knowledge, encouraging further exploration and sparking interest through infographics, information boxes, fact sheets, notes and contextualising paragraphs. Each element of these tools is interconnected via links to further reading and QR codes.

Key-concept

Aware of the institutional and social role it plays, the InfoCamere Group aims to help make the world a better place. A tangible example of this commitment is the careful management of the supply chain, through the concept of ‘Sustainable Procurement’, which encourages responsible behaviour throughout the entire production chain, involving various stakeholders at different levels of the social and environmental fabric.

In particular, the InfoCamere Group’s innovative vision is evident in its ability to anticipate trends. Indeed, with regard to the European CSRD Directive, a ‘looking forward’ approach has been adopted, enabling the Group to anticipate certain obligations such as the Double Materiality Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement for updating the Double Materiality: these are new reporting approaches adopted voluntarily to drive change.
