Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, proposed by the United Nations in 2015 and adopted by all Member States, provides a shared agenda for the prosperity of all the inhabitants of the planet and of the Earth itself.

At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an urgent call to action by all countries, which recognize how tackling economic deprivation must go hand in hand with comprehensive strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality and stimulate economic growth. All in the overall context of recognizing and fighting climate change and safeguarding global biodiversity.
